Falconry

Come and fly magnificent birds of prey and learn form some of the most experienced Falconers in the country.

Black Mountain Falconry from Abergavenny will be holding displays across each day with a great variety of Birds of Prey: Falcons, Hawks, Peregrines, Red Tails, Buzzards, Eagle Owls, Kestrels, Red Kites.

Black Mountain Falconry are the only Falconry Display Team in Europe to fly Red Kites away from home.

Audience participation, both children and adults, are an integral part of all the displays which include an educational and humurous commentary from either Roger or June, sometimes both if you're lucky!!

Black Mountain Falconry will be hosting a number of school children who have been invited by the event free of charge on the Friday and Saturday as a part of a crammed outing as part of an educational day out supporting the Welsh Assembly's 5 x 60 programme.

The displays will be taking place throughout the event so don't miss it!!
