Children's Area

We are all big children here at Glanusk and there is nothing better than having had a really good walk around the Cross Country courses, following mummy and daddy around the shops, eaten and drunk too many fizzy drinks, its time to get rid of some excess energy, SO......the childrens area at this years events will have a very wide varierty of activities for all types of children from very little to not so little.

From woodland survival, quad bikes, climbing walls, huge inflatables, merry go round, trapese structures, shooting range, crafts, face painting, to name just a few of the activitiies. We will keep the list going as and when we find another fun activity to bring into the area, but already the space is getting tight to fit anything else in!!

Children will be most welcome at the Fishing village to have a go learning to use a fly rod and perhaps have a go at the casting competition, spot the trout off the bridge, as well as visit the stables and see all  200, 3 day event horses lined up in their special stables.

We have tried to add something for everyone, and if you cant do it all in one day, you can buy a weekend family ticket. Please have fun, and if you have any questions please do get in touch.

SCHOOLS:

We are apart of the 5x60 programme and encourage schools to visit the event on the Thursday and Friday to see the spectacle of the estate and park, how its set up, the 175 different species of Oak Trees, and the many different kinds of horses on show. Please ask Debbie in the Estate office for details.
